London, UK – 08. May 2026 – Akereos Capital is pleased to announce that it has successfully acted as exclusive debt adviser to Bluefield Solar Investment Fund (“BSIF” or “Bluefield Solar”), a FTSE 250 asset manager specialising in long-term stable dividends from utility-scale Solar, wind and energy storage assets, on a £120,000,000 project financing for its CfD backed solar PV portfolio in England.
The 249MWp solar portfolio consists of 4 projects; Bluestone, Low Horton, Burnt House and Broadway House Farm which are located in the Northeast England. The assets are expected to be fully operational by the end of 2028.
The senior debt financing has been secured from a 2-bank club consisting of Santander and NatWest, two leading European banks with a strong presence in the UK and a comprehensive project finance service offering, supporting large-scale infrastructure and renewable energy developers in the country.
The senior debt financing agreed, draws upon multiple facilities to support the construction of the assets over time, alongside allowing the flexibility to continue to develop co-located BESS.
BSIF was also advised by DLA Piper (legal) while NatWest and Santander were advised by Ashurst (legal).
